~David Goode

Born in Oxford in 1966, David Goode grew up
in the small Midlands town of Leek, Staffordshire,
just north of Stoke on Trent. Stoke on Trent,
also known as The Potteries, was the heartland of
the Victorian pottery industry, and to this day
is still home to many world-famous pottery houses
such as Royal Doulton and Wedgwood.

~Gypsy Wagon

I love Gypsy Wagons!!!
I would love if this wagon could decorates my lawn.

September 1942 1951 Gypsy children
Gypsies are believed to have originated in India,
and to have gradually migrated to the Near East
and Western Europe, reaching Scotland in the early
sixteenth century. They generally travelled in family groups,
and were associated with professions such as
hawking and pedling, acting as tinkers and street
performers, and most common of all, as fortune-tellers.

In eighteenth-century English accounts Gypsies were
generally lumped together with Irish travellers
and vagrants. But by the nineteenth century a series
of powerful romantic notions about Gypsy life began
to predominate. A new interest in Gypsy "lore"
and in the Romani language can be identified, at the
same time that new efforts were being made to "convert"
Gypsies to a sedentary lifestyle.

In the Proceedings Gypsies are usually stereotypically
accused of dishonesty or craftiness and are often
found directing victims to the locations of stolen goods.
From the late eighteenth century onwards, they are also
particularly associated with the crime of "animal theft",
reflecting the particular involvement of Gypsies
in horse dealing. Racial stereotypes are occasionally
employed, with physical descriptions including swarthy
skin and the wearing of ostentatious, colourful clothes.

If I can reach the stars,
I pull one down for you
Shine it on my heart,
So you could see the truth
That this love I have inside
Is everything it seems
But for now I find
It's only in my dreams

Anteater

anteater

Anteaters are the four mammal species
of the suborder Vermilingua commonly
known for eating ants and termites.
Together with the sloths, they compose
the order Pilosa. The name "anteater" is also colloquially
applied to the unrelated aardvark, numbat,
echidna, and pangolin.

The anteater has an elongated snout.
The sticky substance of its tongue traps insects.
It eats up to 30,000 ants, termites and other
insects each day.
The claws of the anteater's front feet are hooked
backward and serve the animal for ripping into
ant and termite nests.

The giant anteater is an insect-eating mammal
with long fur, a bushy tail and a long tubular snout.
Females typically give birth to a single pup,
which both parents feed and care for.
The pup is born a miniature version of its parents
and spends about a year riding on its mother's back.
